I know man, i've never gone to Pismo without 4x4, and I've seen too many prerunners get messed up out there. I guess if no one helps me i'll try to knock it out this weekend or something

 

I've driven plenty of 4x2's at pismo...air down and dont do dumb shit, you'll be fine. Granted, you'll probably get stuck a couple times but there will be plenty of other ppl to pull people out.

Ya that sounds good. It only takes about a half hour. Just pick up a 275-218 relay from radioshack. Pm'd btw. lol

 

Ok now wait a min! Im only going to this cause the OP said that we would be fine with 2wd! He said all is welcome! But i see that you are all so worried about 4x4 and lockers and all that! So are we not going to be fine or what? I mean i understand that i may get stuck ocasionally, but am i gonna get f'ed up out there? I mean we go to the desert all the time and we get stuck once in awhile, but thats what friends are for

 

you'll be fine dude. just make sure you bring a tow strap

youll be fine just make sure to bring a good big shovel and you can get outa most stuck situations or just stick with the pack

I'm from Fresno, so I grew up going to dunes, 4 wheeling and riding my quad.. but I moved up to WA state last summer, I'll be living here until early 2011 and then I'll be back home... I want to go this sucks!

 

Thanks Guys! I figured that we would be fine, was just makn sure! I have a brand new tow strap and will make sure to bring a shovel as well! Dam why cant this be next weekend? Im so stoaked on this strip! Cant wait to get out there!

and like it was said earlier, that's what friends are for and just stick with the pack.
