8th Annual South Padre Island Tacoma World Meet 05-27-2017

Count me in guys. Will you be providing updates on progress? I'm down to meet up at bass pro shop.

 

Im hoping a few people sign into the Zello account that I posted earlier, then you can just hop on and radio in......works just like a CB, everyone can hear your transmission. BUT you can also just talk to a single person if you'd like.

So are the best places to meet are 930am @ Bass Pro in Harlingen or 11:15 at the Access 5 entry to PINS? Isnt the Port Isabel walmart location on the wrong part of the island? Ive not been down there before so I am just trying to formulate a plan and primary/secondary spots to meet. I got the day off approved so the rest is just a plan. Access 5 is almost an hour closer than the bass pro.

 

Best thing is to meet up at Bass Pro because thats where everyone is going. If I dont leave the night before we can get a caravan going down to South Padre

 

okay word! Im still waiting for my GF to share what she wants to do since she works Friday but a caravan would be cool

 

Anybody else getting the app? This would help all of us keep in touch and stay together. I hope it is a huge turnout! I will be at bass pro shop at the designated time. I hope to learn lots of cool taco things lol anybody setup a flag pole in the back? I can't figure out how to set one up. Any help would be appreciated

 

Im doing a flagpole setup this weekend, are you in SA? Also I think Sleipnir loaded the ZELLO app but he's not on.....RIZ_ATX, I think we're going to try and get all the trucks lined up on the Port Isabel side so that we can all cross the Causeway together,Should look pretty cool.

I have it installed but turned it off because it scared the crap out of me when someone said something

If I'm not mistaken at least 1/3 of the people that showed up the last two years were not part of the TacomaWorld group and it was an awesome turnout!
