Like it says, I've got abot 900 to burn on my Taco and I need to know what you guys think is worth the money...

08, 2WD 5-lug....I've already got wheels. I would like to get tires but there's only about 11,000 miles on the stock ones right now, and it just seems like a waste of money this early. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Invest it. I know that's not the answer you want but it's the best advice.

If you really must spend it, you need to give us more info such as what you're into. Do you like street or off road, performance or looks?

I'm more into street performance than off-road performance. However, I'm not trying to make my truck super fast either. I'm mainly going for looks.

If you want tires, but want to wear your current tires down some more, put the money in a 12 month CD. It'll give you time to research what tires you want, and ensure there's money there when you want them.

I'd say WilsonTheDog had a very good suggestion. Put it away in a CD or a secure investment. Who knows, the plane could be coming down next week and you don't even know it! It happened to me a couple months back with virtually no notice. I had a high paying job, and what I thought was excellent stability, worked for them from the day I graduated high school. Just my 2 cents.

^What I hate are people who don't think ahead. There's no such thing as "saving money" and "truck money" when you lose your job. Then, it's all "survival money" and after that's spent you sit around hoping the Messiah, Barack Obama, will save you. Go ahead and think you're secure because nobody is.

Exhaust and intake are a complete waste on the 4 cylinder. Besides, he already said he's into looks, neither of which your suggestions would assist him with.

He has a two wheel drive 5 lug which would be a 4 cylinder. You're new, so I understand.

Maybe consider the fact that many of us are over 16 years old and have been down this road many times. It doesn't matter what he WANTS to hear, he's asking for advice and, this being the internet, he'll get all kinds.
