Yeah I know we said the 2nd, but I don't really care if we change it... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420147523.599708.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1420147540.930988.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1420147550.897804.jpg

It's pretty wet and soupy. I think we have better options.

I don't think that trail would be very good right now once it freeze it should be fine but who knows if that's going to happen.

Yeah but not a ton. Maybe a couple fresh inches in the mountains. Alyeska got a light coating too.

Sorry for all these separate posts, I'm on my phone..
I did find a cool trail that I went out for a mile or two on. It might go a long long ways... It's a some sort of cable easy way or something. It was icy but fairly mild. It would be perfect for the LT or mid travel trucks.

Here's a pic from the trail I stumbled upon.

It opens up and seems like it might go to Seward.

That trail is just past the first bridge on the way to Soldotna after the Seward turn off. On the left hand side of the road. Goes back maybe a couple hundred yards then it comes to an intersection. I took a right and went back a couple miles.

I won't be able to make it today guys, I'm way lacking in sleep from last night.

BTW Jim creek is pretty lame right now, only about 1.5 inches of ice in the thicker spots...

That trail ends at quartz creek campground. If it's the one I'm thinking of anyway. Goes from Tern Lake to quartz. It's a cool little trail. One spot was pretty washed out from snow melt but it's clear other than that.
