I believe that there's a gate at the entrance to the road unless there's another way. I've heard about the trail before and really wanna check it out

How would a stock truck do on that? I've never been.

After looking at a mystery creek video. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a stock taco on it. Lol

From what I've seen it just depends on the time of year and if it rained a lot I'm sure on a dry summer day it's possible

The gate is open now. I haven't been on the whole thing yet. Who wants to go?

I'm assuming that's down south where most of you guys seem to be at?

I was planning on heading up past the Brooks Range this weekend but the weather forecast looks like rain.

Mystery Creek Road is on the Kenai Peninsula.

I was actually planning on driving to the Arctic circle sometime within the first few weeks of next month.

The dalton is super dangerous when raining, definitely still doable though, the weather just changes like crazy up there

This monthly meetup/trail run thread is a joke. I have been posting here for over a year now trying to get people to meetup for trail runs at various places and different times of the year and not once has anybody ever agreed to meet up or even pick a date or time. I think I've only seen one meetup happen here in the last 15 months and it was in a parking lot somewhere in Anchorage.

Sadly I agree with you, this is definitely the least active group on all of TW. The biggest meet I've been to was in April and it was about 5 tacos and we all went camping out at Jim Creek, that was a really great time though. I post quite often as well trying to get meets going, if we can get a few people to agree to a meet I will definitely attend.
