Larger tires are more important in the rocks in my opinion ;) You can fit 35's with a minimal lift.

How is B29 trail? Bald mountain, i've done part of it once but we made a wrong turn and it got way too narrow, we missed the actual trail

Getting new tires soon and I'm very slightly considering 35s.... :annoyed:

YES! You already got a CMC (cab mount chop) right?
Do it! I'm game to help during summer or winter break if you got a garage.

I love it! Its a little rocky at the start, then a little mud, then you cross a creek and go up a hill climb... I've always turned right and played around back in there instead of going straight and climbing. It's on my list of trails to map this summer. I'm not 100% we are allowed to drive on top through the bog though. I'll have to do more research there with whatever state agency is in charge of that. I think I have the GPS coordinates for the B29 though, so that would be really slick if we could drive to it.

The trails up there is why I love my sliders and winch. Its a pretty fun trail when wet. Slick as snot when icy.

Yep already got CMC and the pinch weld done, would probably just end up regearing in the future if I do it, along with a little more trimming and beating stuff back

I've been thinking of getting a winch this summer. Why, I do not know. Haha. I've never needed one but I really want one. I'd need help taking off my bumper and putting it back on.

Check this thread out if you haven't already. Probably will involve a decent bit of cutting unless you aren't planning to flex things out much.

    Because EAF!

Literally linked that thread a few posts up. 37's have been done as well, but that would take a lot more work...

lol just saw that. 35s are definitely doable, but it certainly takes more than a CMC and some banging with a hammer. If I remember correctly @300AACTaco has a plate bumper which would probably need to get hacked up some.

Going from a 33 to a 35... I bet it wouldn't be as hard as you think. @300AACTaco

At least from that 35s thread it looks like in order to be able to fully flex things out while staying at 3" of lift most everybody is chopping at least an inch or two off their fenders and bumpers. Plus CMC and other banging with a hammer.

The pelfreybilt front plate that I have should be pretty clear from touching even a 35 from what I've seen but I'll have to look more into it
