Hopefully next meet I will be there. As far as sliders go, I haven't had the chance to test them on the trail yet (haven't hit any rocks). But they make it really easy to wash the roof of the truck, I don't need to get a chair anymore, lol. I'm glad I got them. They do have many uses, besides just protection from the rocks. Serve as a step when washing the truck or strapping down your cargo, protect the sides from door dings, clean the snow off your shoes before getting in the truck and of course they look good on the truck.
Word of advice, if you are not an experienced welder, do not attempt to install them on your own. I did, it took me two half-days and I ended up welding one side up too close to the cab, every pot hole it was flexing and rattling on the cab. Lucky for me I was able to pull the whole slider down and away from the cab.
Feel free to ask any specific questions you have.

    billy!

Hey guys got us a deal to weld our sliders on. It'll take some organizing on our end to hook it up the same day but nick at underground has agreed to hook it up with group buy pricing if we can all get in the same day. He said it makes it more worth his while if we can do it up at the same time. His method for the cab mount chop is the cleanest I've seen. Looks factory, so if anybody's interested I can see if he'd wanna do those at the same time. Looks like it'll be about 100 bones to install them, keeping in mind that's all the prep work too.

I should clarify that the 100 is just for sliders. CMC would be extra, and not certain if he'll want to do it at the same time. No one here has any aftermarket undercoating right?

Neh. Toyotas steel is just fine for me. No undercoating needed except skids all the way back lol

That's what I'm thinking too. I wonder if the undercoating is sold mostly to places with heavy road salt?
