And if they do, it’s a pretty cheap repair. Rather deal with that than a timing cover leak on a 3.5

I thought so as well, I was toying with the idea to buy the Gen4 and called the service department, they quoted $5499 for parts and labor.

OP likes living on the edge. There's no way I'm going past 89k.

The Toyota LC and Lexus GX are the exact same vehicle with the exception of the powertrain. The i4 turbo in the LC sounds like a clattering bucket of bolts while the TT-V6 in the GX sounds smooth as butter. Maybe trade for a Tundra or Lexus GX with the TT-V6.

I threw mine away at 1000 miles and bought a Cadillac. These trucks just won't last because they're using the first 4 cyl turbo engine in human history. Too much technology. 8 speed transmission? Power steering? AC. All of this stuff just makes the truck unreliable to keep for at most a few months.

Get an electric vehicle if combustion engines hurt your ears. What a dogshit thread. Ignored

More than I need but still not enough.
Gotta be careful with that Cadillac, not sure they are known for reliability. If you have a V8 that is essentially two 4's so it's going to fail twice as fast. I think the OP needs to be looking for a nice schwinn.

Have you driven the GX 550? I’m afraid if I do I’ll want to buy one and they are all $100k plus at the dealers here.

What this thread needs is some good derailing. Got any good pics of your Malinois?

OP needs to ask mom for rides and not even bother with owning a car.

I pointed that out as well, they said the rest is labor and fees. I’m sure there are variances in rates and labor hours but that’s what was shared.

Looking under the hood, there’s nothing there that would make it a $3000 labor job. I’ll just do it myself in a day when I get 150k on the truck. Nbd
