I was searching the internet and came across this website. I bought my 08 Tacoma brand new and have loved it ever since. I am coming up on my 90k mile tune up and my mechanic is wanting to charge almost $400 for it, so I was wondering if this could all be done myself or what? Thanks for the help

Yes, it can, use the search, in the 2nd gen section, a lot of write ups on how to do the maintenance.

GP3 thanks for the link. I had seen that on another thread but was just wondering if anybody could do these themselves with little experience. Thanks JDaniel for letting me know I could. Also a big hello from South Carolina

Pay attention to whether or not your rear dif needs LSD oil/additive.

There should be a sticker on the rear dif cover.

I was probably going to change all of the rear diff oil any way and put a little additive in. I saw the thread on here where it shows how to do it. thanks for the help
