I've never understood the appeal of a raptor. Outside of the horsepower I'd take my Tacoma every time.

$300 less a month. Still a badass truck. That's what appeals to me

Yup in not looking at new. I'm looking at used. But after 2 years once my wife graduates I'll be back in a yota

Honestly for 300 less, depending on condition and the mileagae of it I get what you're considering. Honestly you're going to get similar mileage, maybe a little worse, depends on your style. And its much bigger.

Im starting to contemplate a little bit, I have heard from a few LT guys that the raptor can still do circles around their long travel prerunners. I know if I ever get a fullsize, a raptor will be it...used of course.

Dude if you plan to get back in a yota...shit man there has to be a way to keep it unless you are ok starting over?

Haha that's my wife. She's had my truck for the past week. She took it to Yellowstone and a wedding there today.

Your wife got married? Congrats! I always heard stories of polygamist out West, never saw it first hand.

Stock raptor vs full long travel Tacoma? Run circles? Hmm. I don't see how that's possible.

To be honest suspension wise they arnt far off from each other. Top of that if you get the long travel for a raptor then good god. But yea it def makes me want to ride in one. I will be curious to see how his test drive goes.

Ugh. I hate going to the dealer for my "service" aka tire rotations. But I have to check that off the list for the 25k mile service just to cover my ass later if something happens

    Dislike!

I have to go soon for 15k. New dealer for me. I'm going to hose down the diff with something greasy so they don't see the leak and take my truck away.

They were like your diff isn't leaking lol. I would hope not. I have 488s now lol plus it's awkward when people huddle around the truck. And then starting putting their greasy fingers all over it.
