    Hey @90yota

You don't happen to have any hub to pre-cut flare measurements from the front do you? I get all of the cutting and massaging you did, I'm fine with that. I'm just curious if I'm close to fitting them. I'm running some 285's now but you've convinced me I need to move up to 35's. :)

I'm tempted to just buy them and see if they fit, but I figured I'd ask first.

Unfortunately I don't but I do have before and after pics of the fender to just get an idea. There is no possible way of fitting without cutting unless you are doing a 6" drop bracket lift.

Oh perfect. Thanks for posting those. I knew you cut the flare but didn't put it together you cut the fender. That's fine with me. My last car was a BRZ that I cut into with only a few hundred miles. :)

Any idea how much lift you have? I think I'm a little over 2.75 in the front of mine. I'm not familiar with King to know if that's a spacer up there or just part of the coilover.

Ha. Look at that. All I had to read was the first post. Looks like I'm ordering up some 35's!

Awesome can't wait to see it. Also have to beat back the pinch weld and do a cab mount chop as well. It's not only fenders that need to be cut

Yep! I saw that you hammered back the pinch weld. My cab mount chop is sitting on my work bench at home (next to my 4.88's I need to install). Doing the cab mount chop this weekend.

Prior to your fender cutting, did you drive at all with fenders uncut? I'm wondering if I need to cut prior to the tires or if I can drive them home that way.

On a side note, after looking at yours then mine, the front flares look so much better cut that way.

Nice good to know. I cut first. I put one tire on and tried turning in the driveway and you wouldn't be able to make a turn. It rubs a lot. Cut first then install tires. Thanks it looks good I may do the rear but takes a lot of patience and a steady hand to make that cut

Not to derail the thread, but here is the last vehicle I cut to fit bigger/wider tires. No going back on this one since the rear cut into the body where there's nothing you can swap back to stock.:rofl:

Sounds good. I'll cut first. I think I even have some trim left from my last car. And I can imagine. The fender not so much since you hide under trim and the flare. But the flare on the other hand. I'll be sweatin making that cut.

A little advice. Be careful at the fender and bumper mount where the join together! Could loose a big mounting point which I halfway did. You'll know what I'm talking about when you take out your wheel well liners

Oh thanks for the reminder. I managed to cut both of those off of my BRZ. The bumper never fit the same after that. Haha

Tires im not sure yet. Size will be 315/75/16. Brand still gotta look.

So what's the trick to getting those stupid little round clip things out!? I ended up just ripping the liner out with clips still in the truck. Did you ever rebuild the liner or just leave it? I'm thinking of just cutting out the furthest outside piece where it starts to slope back down and calling it good. That should still leave a little liner in there.

Now that that one flare is off I see where you cut. I made a little dust line where I'm cutting. Probably this weekend. Going to work on the clips on both sides first. And the other liner removal.

Pull till it wrips out haha. And use pliers to get the clip out. No real trick to it. I never rebuilt the liner. Once you cut the fender you loose all mounting points for it to be reinstalled. As far as the flare clips I pushed them out from the inside so I didn't break any

I also used black undercoating to spray all bare spots within the wheel well to protect it

Well despite your warning I still cut off the bumper mount. I steered way far from it the first cut. Then thought...I can get closer! Well that closer cut it off completely. Haha
