Hmm. Maybe I need to bump up my plans to a 3.5". Those fenders work perfectly with that setup. I'm assuming they are 4" (or 4.5) like the 2016?

Yea they are the 4" fenders. Honestly if it wasn't for the stock bumper, it would look much nicer. I say get the fenders with the idea that you will get a bumper. If you like the stock bumper appearance, then you can always get the bumper side extensions that glass works makes and add them on the side to blend the fenders in as well. Before I went LT, I would say my tires were about 1.5 inches inside the fender with spacers. If you think about it, that's not that much.

@90yota is this what you mean by cold air intake? Or did I do it wrong?

They rub at full lock and on a slope but it's not bad. I don't recall how much $700-$800

neither of you guys cut the rear fenders to match the front? any plans on that? have you tried running the 35s without spacers yet?

35s look sick AF but seems to be a pain in the ass. I might just stick with my 295s or get some 285/75/17.

I remember @90yota telling me that if he cut the rear at all, it would create too much of a gap to where you would think the rear is slightly higher in height than the front. I also don't think he rubs at all to warrant the extra cutting, but I could be wrong.

I haven't cuz they don't rub. Maybe once I do a shock relocate I'll do it because it might rub then but i still haven't taken off the spacers yet to test it out. 35s aren't a pain but you definitely need to know what you are getting yourself into before going that route.

My truck is also already cut up. Firewall has been beat back with a sledge hammer. Not worried about cutting. Just don't want to run 35s and be rubbing while off-roading. I would love to run 35s as long as I can flex and turn in any direction without rubbing. I already have 4.88 gears.

I would relocate the cab mount if possible. 35s are tough to fit without rubbing. Unless you want to do a drop bracket style lift

Mine rub so bad that I've take a couple of chunks off the side tread.:rofl:

I think I could have fixed it with some different caster settings. But I'm choosing to go the super expensive route for fixing my rubbing issues. :boink:

Drop bracket....definite no! I don't think anyone makes a relocation bracket yet for the 3rd gen.

My castor is set at like 3.8 right now. Might get it set to 4.0 next time I bring my truck in.

Would LT help with rubbing? I think bringing the tires out would only make it worse. Hell be running fenders tho so that'll probably give him more clearance.
