you think its worth going the adjusters out back? im shopping for them right now and just have been going back and forth. Ive seen few run the 2.5s with jerrys hangers but most havent commented or provided good photos of spacing

I liked them when I had them as it was nice to have that range of adjustability. I got the 2.0s originally cause I heard the 2.5s could rub at full articulation which these were spec'd for his kit from dsm which stated in the shock tags. The 2.0s were fine for the driving I do which is not categorized as "slow" driving.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are "2.5" options out there as I know many like that route, but you know hitting up "the man" would be the best approach before pulling the trigger on some shocks.

Like @Coot83 said about the adjusters. These were actually his and I bought them off him. They are so nice man. I throw my bedrack and rtt on and turn up the compression. Take it off for daily driving and soften the compression. Because my setup is so versatile I love them. I still rub mine when flexed so I wouldn't run 2.5s unless you plan to LT and run a wider axle or spacers in the rear. The ride is amazing though. Night and day difference compared to my 5125s

That was my fav thing about them too...that on the fly adjustment just goes well with weight in the bed. Its also fun to play with them when needed to get that "perfect" feel.

I need to cut them off and make custom fenders. No hammer will fix this job.

I finally opened up the rtt on the trailer. It's so cool.

I am looking at doing a similar setup, but not as tall as I won't need to have an ATV underneath... I like this a lot man and may have to borrow some ideas form it like the scissor jacks instead of the other type of jacks I was planning on using for leveling and support...

I have a different rack that sits flush with the top of the bed as well. I just haven't installed it yet. The scissor jacks are from Amazon. Here's the link

I was wondering why the rack looked like it would unbolt and such, but that makes sense. I am planning the same thing to have a rack that is not as high but bolts up and everything so I can remove it if needed to carry something that is higher than the welded on portion. Or if I wanted to store the tent I could just unbolt the rack from the trailer instead of the tent from the rack.

    Damn, have a dead battery?

Looks like a great time though, I had a lot of time to this this weekend when I was driving on some ideas for my trailer build. I am wondering if I can make a set of bed bars that are like yours, but are the same width as regular Tacoma bed bars, and have the base plate on the truck so I would just have to unbolt the tent from the trailer and then transfer it plus the bars over to the truck somehow.

I've been wanting to build a trailer the same width as the truck bed with holes to just bolt it at the same place as the bedrails and so I can move my rack back and forth depending on the type of trip. Thats just a dream for now since I have no place to store a trailer and also cant afford to build one atm.
