Remember those brave souls on Flight 93 for those who charged the cockpit, World Trade Center victims in and on the planes and the pentagon bringing America to stand still 20 yrs ago…..

God Bless all and be safe…

911 ceremony today in small town Texas. Be assured nobody in that crowd that was alive twenty years ago will ever forget that day when our lives were forever changed

Still remember where I was. In freshman English class when they rolled the tv out and we watched in horror. Thankful for everyone that risked their lives bringing those responsible to account, and those who responded to the scene. I will never forget

One Day In America on Hulu is National Geographic's new mini series on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It's really intense, interviewing survivors and first responders that were there. A lot of footage from the POV of the fire and rescue crews from that morning before and after the impacts.

I was a junior in high school and remember it from seeing it unfold on Good Morning America, which my mom had on the TV every AM before school. Mostly in disbelief and thinking it must have been an accident, until the second plane hit.

I don't believe it's possible to answer that question in this thread.

True. I’m not sure it can be answered at all, or the perspectives so myriad and inherent on individual truth that no concensus is obtained.

Is it really that hard to know what we at least should have learned? That there are peaceful people all over the world of who would choose to live in peace, regardless of religion or values or beliefs? And that there are some extremists who hate our country and will seek to destroy it any way that they can? Are we that unprepared that we’ve learned nothing? I think most have learned. I have.

A lot can be said for what we have not learned from this, as there was many warning signs and failures that happened.

I watched several of the 9/11 shows that were on TV yesterday showing many of the first hand accounts from the people that were in the towers, and also from loved ones of those on flight 93, and a lot of footage that I have never seen. There were a lot of miracles that happened that day and hearing the first hand recounts of those were chilling.

I can't imagine how some of those people don't have nightmares still to this day.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Working odd shifts at that time and would sleep 5:00 am until 2pm and hadn’t watched T.V really in 10+ years. To this day, I don’t know why I woke up telling myself to turn on the TV. Walked into living room and watched the first pane hit. Don’t know
