91748 Area Shop Reccomendation Please

My truck is currently making a rock/tick noise upon start up. Initially it was a warm up thing, now it seems to last sometime. My concern is if its a rod-knock. The last mechanic said advised switching to synthetic oil and wasn't much help. So I would like someone who knows Toyota engines to give my truck a look into. Any information or guidance is much appreciated. And of course any shop within a reasonable distance not just right next to my zip code.
