Oh, man. Felt so good to drive it after a month and a half. I just went out and sat in it for a while the night I got home haha still running like a champ. I'm sure I'll die before it does.

My neighbor had one very similar to yours that perished to rust and i swear he must've cried when he got rid of it....

 

I've been trying to prevent that but just one winter so far has already taken a heavy toll.

Did you ever clean up your sliders?
Wondering if you figured out a good way to do it 'cause I need to do mine soon.

 

Nope. Still rusting pretty good. I need to have someone sand blast and bedline 'em.

If the Line-X place here wasn't a total rip off I'd tell them to do the bed, sliders, and bumpers but they quoted me $350 just for sliders a few years ago when I had the 2012.

 

Damn, might as well buy a new pair of sliders, then!
Well I think I'm just going to use a sand paper wheel that I found at Home Depot for a 4.5" angle grinder and then hand sand the tight spots. I'll let you know how it goes, when I get around to it

 

I needed to get around to a lot of things before winter. Chances are looking more and more slim by the day ha.

Last few tanks have been really good considering how I've been romping on it some and it's been getting colder.
