93 TOY pu. PROBLEMS

I have a 93 Toy PU 4 cylEFI 4x4. Man trans. Recently I have had a issue of No starting. It will turn over then die. If I put it in reverse to start it , it hops then sputters , but starts.. I have put a new fuel fulter and it starts, BUT if I let the revs fall below 2500 it dies.. above 25 runs like a rabbit....... COuld this be a fuel pump issue ????

I too have 4 cyl, 1993, manual shift. Not had that problem. But still breaking in at about 120,000 mi. Possible old injectors? I do use BOSH Platinum tip plugs and only change them ...mmmm....maybe every 50,000 mi. or when I just respect their age and change them. Any good diagnostic shops in your area? The higher revs could be a clue. Have you tried that Seafoam stuff in the fuel, or an injector cleaner? I burn ethonal fuel and it seems to keep my system clean. Yup, likely giving up a tad on milage, but it will keep the system clean.
