So i bought a 94 toyota pick up with an automatic transmission with 86k miles I've put about 1000 miles on it so far and it was driving fine. The only problem that I've found is that it has an oil leak it looks like it might be a bad front main seal and bad timing cover gasket. But the main issue I had was about a week ago while I was driving it all of a sudden started to stall when I was taking off at a green light as I was pressing the gas there was almost no acceleration it was sputtering until it just stalled out completely. i pulled over to the side and turned the truck on again with no issues it idles perfectly fine in park this issue only happens when I put it in gear and start accelerating again. Has any one have an idea of what the problem is?

Yes probably your crank seal needs replaced, I’ve had to do mine a couple of times. Your issue sounds like a clutch but since it’s an automatic I’d look at the transmission first

86k original miles not a rollover? I'm thinking fuel and intake systems are dirty
could it still have original plugs?
