    there were less expensive models, the ones with most all options were about that price

    The distributor lasted until 96 for the 2.7L and 97 for the 2.4L (which is why you’ll see 97’s with or without). The suspension eccentrics were 95 only.

    There weren’t that many things that were 95 only, most managed to last until 96-97.

    Couple 95 only things:

    4-cylinder models have an A/C idle up VSC. This was gone for 96. Ditto for the fuel pressure VSV.

    No diff lock on any 95’s.

    Interesting that people notice these things. Must be true enthusiasts. ;)

    Be careful that you don't grab the spit cup...

    I like the pull out cup holders. I don't have to take eyes of the road and it is an easy place to hang a belt clip on phone case. I have never worn a belt clip but it works perfect in 1995.5 taco.

    Only downfall is that you can't see the climate controls but after 20 years I know what is where.

    My 199.5 taco doesn't need the power rear window. Just reach back.

    My 2010 taco dbl can really needs the electric rear window. I think I have openedit one time in 10 years.
