The switches all have their own plug, they can be removed from
The thing without pullthing the wheel and the center piece is a lot different

Merry Christmas guys. I'm curious to this now.

I have a '98 Sienna and a '00 Tacoma that I switched steering wheels(Sienna has Camry/'01-'04 Taco 4 spoke style + leather) on quite a while back. I also switched clocksprings (plug difference for radio controls that I didn't really care about) but lost Cruise on both vehicles by doing it. Didn't want to jack with switching around wires even though I kind of thought a simple repinning was all that was really needed for cruise.

My truck had a simple 4 wire C.C. plug but on the Sienna CC stalk, one of the wires went over to the radio controls first, then back to the Clock/Spr. plug.

I'm about ready to get rid of the Sienna now and would like to have things back in order but kind of would like to keep the wheel so.

Is it easier to just swap back the clock springs (I think the bags will plug to each other even though wires are diff. colors) re-pin somewhere the cruise or just for get it and swap back the wheels? I've just been a little nervous to pop one hooking it back up to try. (when reconnecting battery)

I'm really not concerned with hand controls for radio on the wheel as radio in Sienna is about shot anyway and needs changing plus with a regular button to turn down, I never needed hand control.

When I changed I really was surprised there was such a difference in harness colors being Toyota and the usual way of parts compatibility.

edit: oh or do I need possibly a '01-'04 CC stalk since they came on wheels this style?
