Thanks, kinda, I miss going to dumont with family and friends, and I miss the family that still lives out there.
Yeah, it'd be a lot easier, I'm going to look for a parts truck when I decide to do it.

Bumper is mostly done, I primed it for now because I don't know when I'll have time to finish burning in the recovery points and add the tubes.
Suspension is done also, drives and rides really nice, I do want a little more lift in the rear now though.

    Yep, been real :goingcrazy: lately.
Haven't worked more on the truck lately, I'm gonna try to finish the bumper in the next few weeks, and I probably won't do much more on this truck for a while, except possibly add a leaf to the rear, the truck is pretty much dead level with 200 lbs of sand in the bed and the camper shell on.
I also am gonna start on this project sometime (Gotta build a road and shop first though).

I didn't notice this when I saw you the other day on 603. Did you take it off for the time being?

It was on that day, I pulled it a few days later and started working on it again and finally finished it the other day, all I have left is a little touch up painting to do.

    Thanks!
Yep, same color truck and everything.

It blended in pretty well when it was just primed, I thought about making the bumper body color, but that wouldn't have been cheap and I'm not sure how it would've looked, I liked the way it looked with just primer though.

Shoot yea it blended in. I tell you what I just did some of the interior trim with duplicolor exact match spray paint and it turned out alright. It's not terribly cheap but you'll save a bunch of money doing it yourself.

Got a few things ordered last night, not real fancy but they have good reviews.
I'm gonna be testing them before we buy some for the tractor and dozer.

Also a friend of ours is going to store his plasma cutter at our house and we can use it whenever we want, so I may design a rear bumper and see how that goes.
I'm thinking of building it with a swing out because I'll be stepping up to 285's and my camper shell has stayed on the truck since fall break, it probably won't be coming off.

I was litteraly just trying to figure out where I could find a plasma cutter because I'm wanting to buy some Humvee wheels and then recenter them with 6 lug centers with less backspacing. This requires plasma cutting the wheel centers out and welding in new ones.

Before you do that you could try PRCC, they have a plasma cutter and Mr. Jarrel has summer class so he'll be there from 7:30 ish to 6:30 or 7:00.
Just go to the shop and ask for Raymond Jarrel, if he's not busy he'll probably cut them for you, he probably won't weld them because of liability reasons.

The shop is in waveland by the GameStop, really close to the auto/shop side of Walmart.

Ok I'll check with him. I need to find someone to weld them before I buy them

Got the pods today, tested them tonight and they are good, I'm not sure what to expect from them because the only LED's I have experience with are interior.
They outshine my headlights and hi-beams.

Don't mind the ghetto fabulous wiring, it's just for testing purposes.

    No headlights, just LED's

As far as beam reach I would say approximately 75 feet, it's about 65 feet to the edge of the canal and the canal is approximately 10 feet wide.
