Anything is possible with enough :sawzall: and :welder:but are you sure you want to try and pick up someone else's failed project?

No I'm not which is why Im posting here.

A price that is "too good to be true" is generally too good to be true.

    exactly!

Not only are the mount points likely very different (hard to tell from the pics in your links), but the other issue is body width. I'm not sure the body lines would match up with the two different trucks, so that would require even more fabrication.

It would be interesting to know how far he got, and what he thought was still needed, though. If for no other reason than morbid curiosity.

Body lines should be fine and the frame have the same dimensions iirc. Just different from mounting protrusions.

Im thinking a skilled fabricator can do it but not sure.

oh totally, a skilled fabricator could do it in their sleep. Might be quicker for them just to start from scratch, tho.

    If I put a Smitty Built Bumper for a 83 Toyota 4x4 on my 2000 I don`t see why not .

As long as your not looking for it to be picture perfect which I am sure can be done but at much more cost

Any Instructions are pretty much worthless you look and see what your dealing with

pretty much any aftermarket bumper your gonna need to modify the frame horns to use as a attachment point

I wonder why the seller gave up ??

just how much for the bumper ? Cheap enough go for it.

Wish I was closer it would be a fun project

$200 for the bumper. He said he ran out of time? I'm trying to contact him to look it over and will take pics. If he dicked it up too much, Ill probably walk. He has the stock mounts and hopefully they still attach to the bumper because my approach is not modify the bumper to fit but modify the mounts.

Fabricator has been found. If the sell would answer, I'll be picking up a warn plate bumper for $200.

    I will have did it.

The Easy thing will most likely just build new brackets rather then try and make something else .

I am sure who ever you found will do what makes the best job

Right now I'm concerned with the dimensions of the bumper, specifically the hight. From pictures, the 95 truck appears to have bit higher skid plate mounting which would leave a gap on the 01 Tacoma. When the seller replies I'm hope to get a good look and decide weather I won the lottery or not.
