It's got 30000 miles on it and is owned by 60 year old doc. He was asking for 10500 but we settled on $9500. Does this seem like good deal? I plan to pick it up this weekend so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas.

    Sincerely,
    Jim

Yeah it is a good deal. People are stupid though and waaaaaaaaaay over pay for used Toyotas. I see them go through th auctions for only 4 or 5 grand less than they sell new with about 30K miles on them. Maybe it is me, but for 4K amortized over 3 years I would way rather have the new one over the used one.
In your case though it is a decent deal and that is all it should be worth, but some reason people like getting bent over buying used toyotas.

    great deal man!
Yep, thats why I bought mine new even though I was looking for a used truck. I paid 25K and similar used ones 2yrs old with 25k-40k miles were still like 22500. Seemed like a logical choice to get new and know what the truck has been through and that it gets maintained properly.... oh, and financing new was a better rate so that made it and even stronger point.
