yeah i know... i don't really like his design though. i have the dimensions of the hoop itself, which will be fine... it's how much depth i'll have to work with is the question now.

i've also asked for a quote for him to build the the guard himself... but the last guard idea i had he said would be an extra $500... i've simplified it more this go around but it still may be too expensive to have him do it... we'll see.

i would like to get the measurement from anyone just so i can tentatively go forward with my design but i still need to hear it from Tim... if things get screwed up because i got an inaccurate measurement from some random guy on TW then i'm SOL... but i need a definite number from Tim himself so that if things aren't right i'll be able to speak with him about it.

now if only he would get back to me.....

Good luck. He is a busy busy busy dude.

and sounds like more then just a guard your changing..if its 500 bucks you much be changing the actual bumper itself.

If ya don't love the design..then maybe build it yourself??:notsure: or a local shop to build it??

bumper isn't being changed... just an intricate guard... but it's too much fab work for what i can afford to pay someone else to do.. and i don't have the skills/tools to do it myself

i like his bumper design... just not the guard design. the more i can get him to do that fits into my idea the easier it will be for my local guy to finish up because he doesn't have quite as much fab experience

on my bumper from the front of my bug deflector which was right at the grill, to the back of the hoop was 6" dead on. you can let me know if there is a specific space the guy wants and i can get it close

Just got mine in the mail and powder coated. It looks awesome. Now I'm just wondering how much of my frame to cut off on my '00 Tacoma? I've seen 3-4 inches. Anyone remember how much they cut off?

    Thanks!
