Looks like a pre fab to me bud... You put it in a custom enclosure and it will be like a whole new beast... What are you powering it with? How did you wire the sub? Is it a d4? If your interested and have a little money my builder could hook you up pretty cheap and make that sound amazing

Yeah, its a cheap prefab and yes d4 wired to 2 ohm on an ssl 1500 watt amp. Don't have money but I think I could build one with the help of online blueprints. I see yours is made of plywood, is it a lot better than mdf for a box?

It's lighter and stronger... Baltic birch is the way to go... Cost a little more but when it comes to mounting subs no crumble just gotta pre drill your holes... If your gonna try to build one this guy will still hook you up with a cut sheet... He will do all the math and as long as you follow the sheet end up with a great sounding box...

Did some re wiring and installed my twisted sounds 1.8kw at 2.8 ohm cause the amp that was in there finally shit... Built a little amp rack to allow her to breathe a little bit... Have ran at full tilt for over an hour and sub hasn't gotten warm neither has the amp.. Sub should be seeing right around rated

definitely got that amp from dropping hertz :) i recognize his hand writing.
A TL box makes all the difference! There are so many variations with that box design its CRAZY! It looks like your port area or port width is the same size as you sub's volume

Yeah 1/4 wave guided box's or TL boxes do sound fantastic. Box something with a very low FS that can take 2kw in there and you'd be shocked at the output and wide bandwidth

30hz 1.2kw.... If the sd is the same on my DC level 5 10 I have coming I'll mount it inverted and run at .7 ohm... If that's not loud enough I'll throw the dd m4b on it

I wasn't aware dc made a level 5 10. The lines are awesome, very efficient enclosures. That amp is a beast. I'm not a fi person 1 but it looked like it does very well

    Good job
