head gasket was just replaced...the truck sat a year and a half... does anyone think this code could be caused by coolant in the combustion chamber maybe gummed up a o2 sensor? or just sitting and not being driven??

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
It's possible. It can be caused by a number of things actually.

Bad AFR (front O2 sensor), exhaust leak(s), bad rear O2, vacuum leak, cracked exhaust header/manifold

Do you have to worry about emissions? Smog test? I have seen a few guys recently get aftermarket CATs through rockauto.com that seem to work.

URDUSA.com also makes an O2 simulator that tricks the ECM into thinking the CAT is good (no CEL light either)
