96 Tacoma 8" gear set source

    I have a 96 4wd V6 Tacoma with an 8" rear axle. The gears are going bad and I need a replacement set. I can not find any 4.10 ratio gears anywhere to fit this axle.

    Does anyone here know where to find Tacoma 8" rear gears?

    You won't find any after market 4.10's. Best bet is to buy a used differential from someone who has re-geared.
