96 tacoma auto to manual swap?

    Lift, 35 inch 12.50 tires
    96 tacoma v6 automatic 4x4 extended cab, I want to swap to a manual transmission, would this be a major job? And would I have to mess with my computer far as swapping it?

    Yes, it is a major job and yes, you'll need the manual ECU.

    You would need the transmission and transfer case assembly, a new flywheel, pilot bearing, clutch/pressure plate, slave cylinder, master cylinder, clutch pedal and spring, metal line from master cylinder to slave, and a replacement ECU for a manual transmission. It can be done as I have helped in an identical swap, but it is a bit pricy and time consuming.
