I know how that goes. I wish i could do more also. With the bilsteins all around and the fronts on the highest point, did you lift the rear?

Sweet! Yeah, do that for the short term. You're lucky.
You know they are left- and right-specific, right? Just pay attention...

So I want to see a pic of the actual leaf springs under the truck , just out of perverse curiosity...

Huh. Those are 3-leaf springs. The top leaf meets the front eye at midpoint, which looks like a 2WD leaf, at least according to the 2003 Factory Service Manual (attached). Maybe 96 models were different. I dunno. Only someone who has an earlier truck would be able to confirm.

I didn't even realize you were in Sac. What area?

so I got the leaf springs and I ordered the shocks today. next is the AAL and then tires. Does anyone know where I can get the bushings for the lower part of the front struts? I think Toyotec has them but im not 100% sure its them. Also, as for the AAL, is that just a bolt on item or does the leaf pack need a press or something to get the AAL on? thanks

yea toytec has those bushings. you need a c-clamp to relieve the pressure. no press need that im aware of.
