    Hey everyone,

I have own my taco for 10 yrs now and love my truck. I have recently been looking to get a new Tacoma, but I really don't like the present (2005-present) models as they are as large as the Tundras, and living in Los Angeles, it is a parking lot nightmare literally and figuratively. I have driven a 2006 Tacoma and find that it is to big to fit into the parking spots here in LA and that I have to park far away in order to keep people from hiting and scratching the doors. I was also dissapointed that in comparisson to my 96, which still gets about 24 mpg, that the new Tacos are only in the teens ( the 06 Taco I was driving) and the fact that 4 cylinders are so darn hard to find in 2005-present models.

I love just driving my truck and just throwing stuff in the back, not having to worry about getting things dirty, and just taking off. I love having the ability to carry stuff to the beach or the mountains on weekend trips or carry trees and supplies from Home Depot.

So I joined this board to see if there are other people with similiar opinions. I am not a contractor, just a working professional that loves my truck.
