I know what you mean, every time I get one thing fixed seams like another thing messes up. About the springs rockauto.com has some for $81.01 shipped, If you want to just get something on there to get it moving.

good news, got the lift on and didnt need the rear blocks because its already got an add a leaf in the rear. i wondered why it sat so high in the back.
bad news, rear brakes wasnt working at all and my front parking brake cable was broken, so i ordered everything to redo all the brakes front and rear, even got a new parking cable...
more good news though i got my new tailgate handle and tailgate cables on today...!!!
here some pictures of the work, not much but pictures do help out on a good thread...!!!

i also talked to my welder today and we had a long discussion on the bumbers and flatbed...
we are gonna do some thinking and sketches and think on it some more, but it seems we might be able to do it without a tube bender...
i was thinking we could use all square tube and cut all the bends, ive seen one or two done that way and they look really good, of course there would be at least two to three angles on the front bumper to get the wrap around right but ive seen it done...
but like ive said its still all up in the air, if i could get ahold of a tube bender then ill go that route, if not the square tube it will be... we will just have to wait and see...!!!
my welder seen the photos of the beds i posted on here as i was trying to give him some ideas of what i wanted and he said either way he could do it out of square or round and it would look just as good, he really is a great welder, ive seen him build some crazy shit...!!!

well my bad luck continues,,,, got my new brakes on the rear and when i went to bleed them i couldnt get no fluid to come to the rear. got to looking around and the brake line coming out of the master cylinder looks to be kinked... :(.....
theres also a splitter in the line thats kinked so i dont know whats going on there.... so i dont know if the master cylinder is bad or if its just the line thats fucked up.... seems like everything i do there are three more things that come up.....
im thinking real hard about fixing all the bad stuff and getting it running and just putting it up for sale, im just so over all the petty stuff thats going on with it....!!!
it should be a damn good start for someone wanting a good tacoma with all new drive train, brakes, and all the electrical bugs fixed....
5,000.00 to the first taker...!!! zero miles on the motor and brakes...!!!
