I have a 97 Tacoma extended cab that is being revamped. After allowing a head gasket problem to persist and ruin the motor the truck sat for almost a year. Just got a used motor with supposedly 88,000 miles on it and a new aisin clutch and dropped it off at mechanic shop to be installed. Once I get it back heading to local off-road shop to install 5" lift, 4.88 gears and changing the third member with a grizzly locker or "unlocker" really. Said to be the best economical solution to my stock open rear differential. Going to 33x12.50's. Any input would be appreciated, especially if I'm heading in the wrong direction in any way. Thanks
