So im new to this forum but ive been lurking for about a year now. Howdy, bought this 97 a year ago at 305k and have put another 40 on it since. Everything runs smooth but i started towing recently and realized my leafs arent up to the challenge as much as i would like. What are good replacements for them? Maybe a little bit of a lift too? Thanks

Do a search, covered many times.

1995-1997 springs are shorter than 1998-2004 springs when searching.

I have been happy with my general springs HD model.

    None so far.
I replaced mine on my 97 a few months back. I used stock springs from Rock Auto and so far no issues. All the bolts were seized up so I had to cut them off and replace with new hardware.
