Greetings! I recently inherited a 1997 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with 79K original miles. Truck was in the family and passed around and now that it needs work I have become the new owner. I have recently replaced the belts and both the master and slave clutch cylinders. Fluids, wipers, breaks have also be done. The tires are in good shape but old and beginning to show some dry-rot. I am thinking of replacing the wheels. There seems to be a lot of wheel-well space, but not sure how much the 2.7lt can handle. I don't really want to put a lift kit on but am looking for wheel and tire recommendations.

Welcome! Looks like a solid truck. I’d send it for a professional detailing first to bring that paint back up.
