I'm helping a guy out with his Toyota Tacoma and he is in need of new springs and shocks. He is also wanting to lift it about 2-3".

I have been looking at the toytec site looking at coils and shocks. What is the best setup for a 97, 4x4, ex cab, with the 2.7L? I was looking at the eibach lift coils with the Bilstein shocks. Or the OME coils and shocks, which coils would be best for this application the 881 or 883? Which setup would give the best ride? What is the opinion on the Tokico shocks, will they work with the eibach springs? Thanks in advance for all info.

    Toyota's are awesome
Hey partner, never got an email on your post, sorry about that.

Here is the kit we think would work best for your truck: http://www.toyteclifts.com/index.ph...ategory_id=63&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=72

The eibach coils might be just a bit stiff unless he plans on running an aftermarket bumper or winch setup. If the above kit is too expensive, I would suggest the OME kit next with the 881's up front. The tokico shocks will not work with the eibach springs.

    Hope that helps.

I don't believe he is going to be adding any more weight to the front so I think we will go with the OME coils and shocks. When he is ready to order I will hit you up for the discount code. Thanks again.
