    Hello everyone,

The Rear Wheel Bearing of my 97 Toyota Tacoma V6 4x4 with Automatic Transmission is bad. My truck has non ABS and non differentials. Every time I drive, it has a big and terrible sound come from the passenger rear wheel. I lifted it up and spinned the wheel and tire on both rear wheels and tires. Only the passenger side is loose and bad. I plan to fix or replace it with the used part which I plan to get it from junk yards but I don't know exactly what parts do I need to get to fit my truck. I'm not a mechanic but I have a little knowledge to maintain my cars and truck for some small issues, but I never replaced the rear wheel bearing before, so I got the following questions for you to answer to help me what to do. If you don't mind, please share your ideas with me and give me some subjections if possible.

    1. Can I get or use the rear wheel bearing of Tacoma 4 Cylinders with 2WD?
    2. Can I get or use the rear wheel bearing of Tacoma 4 Cylinders with 4WD?
    3. Can I get or use the rear wheel bearing of 4runner 4 Cylinders with 2WD?
    4. Can I get or use the rear wheel bearing of 4runner 4 Cylinders with 4WD?
    3. Are the rear wheel bearing from Tacoma or 4runner with 4WD and 2WD the same?
    4. Are the rear wheel bearing from Tacoma or 4runner with 4 Cylinders and V6 the same?
    5. Are the rear wheel bearing form Tacoma or 4runner with automatic and 5 speeds the same?

Please let me know your ideas or answers so I can figure it out what to do.

    Thanks.

I'm not positive on what fits but if I were you I would use and online Toyota dealer and look up the part number for the wheel bearing using the different specs you just listed. That will tell you the part number for the wheel bearing of each model and whether or not it is different.

I already looked at online on Toyota dealer website but I didn't see any information about it. In case if you see it, please post me the link.

You could always just call your local parts department too and they'll know the part number, I've done it before for other parts

Ok, I'll contact the dealer tomorrow and then I'll get back here to let you know.
