My lifted 97 tacoma has a Vibration/roaring in the front end. I can feel the vibration in the steering wheel the most and the floor. I just got done replacing both CV axles, all front end bushings, rack and pinnion, the rid ends and greased all the u-joints. If anyone else has had these problems please help!

Do you have Manual hubs or the auto ones? There is a write-up on the front differential bearings as a weak point. Could be those since you've rebuilt everything else :) Sucks chasing problems and they are still there after all that work.

Tires are 265/70/16 primewell Camera A/T. The ones on front are wore on one side more than the other, however it has had a rotation and balance last week along with tire inspection. The vibration is vibrating the dash now and starts out at about 10mph as a slow stomp and picks up speed.

sounds like out of balance or bad tires. if the tires are worn on one side that means your alignment is out of wack too, time to get one and see if this is causing some tire "shudder"

The tires that are worn on the outside are the rear tires that just were switched around with the rotate and balance. The tires are good. It seems as what a dry bearing would sound like. And now that I think about it, I crossed 3 rivers about 3 weeks ago on an offroad trip. This could have something to do with it.

yeah it could be a bearing for the roaring sound but the wearing tires could be something else

@FLBAdrian have you driven it with the wheel spacers off? If those aren't concentric to the hub and wheel it could be the problem.

No I have not took the wheel spacers off. I’ll give it a try when I get back home later in the week.

So I ran my truck by a local shop and it has been ruled that the passenger wheel bearing has gone out. It is getting replaced Thursday morning and I will post a follow up on the problem.

I'm pretty sure that's my issue too I've replaced everything like you, and want to see if it fixes yours. I've been putting it of because I'm aware of the press needed.

The truck is fixed, rides smooth now and no vibration. It was the passenger side wheel bearing in the front!!!
