Ok guys, I need your help. Decided to take the truck offroad yesterday and ended up busting and snapping my rear right strut. I figured that now would be the perfect time to do suspension and get it to how I want it. The only issue is that I know nothing of suspension, lifts, etc. I need a crash course in everything that pertains to suspension

Leaf springs if you want a rear lift. (In my opinion best option)
Then depending on how much lift you decide on will determine the length and travel of the rear shocks. I think....

Maybe a stupid question but I can't seem to find the answer, are the maf sensors different on the 98-00 3.4s? I could have sworn that it was a separate piece that went into the intake tube, but on mine it appears to be the whole section right after the airbox.

EDIT: Just needed to search a little deeper, but I found my answer here in case anyone else needs this info.

Anybody here have a positive experience with IPCW replacement headlights? Or have an aftermarket headlight recommendation? I just don't want to buy junk that'll start flickering or allowing moisture inside. Pics would be awesome! IMG_0644.jpg

Just keep it OEM or get retrofits. There aren't anything in between IMO.

That's what I was afraid of. Those that I posted were priced at $280 so I had a little hope that they might have some degree of quality. I've never looked into headlights before so I'm mostly cluesless as to where I can find retrofits. Is there a member or an off road products distributor that you recommend?

TRS. It's who I went thru when I did mine. You can get a kit for just about the same price as those. There is a write-up I followed somewhere on here, but just do your homework on this mod and it's super easy. Not to mention people will help you if you run into problems. Or just ask me and I'll attempt to help

Yeah, I feel like everybody has the smoked out ones. Just don't know how it would look on one of our red tacos. Be awesome if someone had a pic!

Smoke 'did' look good. But I agree that every Tom, Dick, and Harry, and Cletus, and Jimmy, and Joe has the smoke. Go with Red.
