With 265k miles. the suspension was finished but truck was well kept Everything worked as it should. After installing fab tech shocks, coil overs, Add a leaf. new ball joints, tie rod ends, rack,,stabilizer, and other bushings etc. trucks is starting to feel pretty solid.

I ended up replacing that section of the frame completely and the leaf spring set also because they were just about flat from being disconnected

Nice, did you use the Safe-T-Cap frame kits, or something custom fabricated?
I’m currently having some kits installed as well as new leafs and shocks all around.. my frame was all Swiss cheesed up by the mounts, I’m surprised I didn’t lose a leaf as well..

I ended up cutting out a piece of frame from a wrecked tacoma I found in a junkyard and my wife welded it on, I have a full write up of it on my page. I still haven't installed new shocks back there yet, but that is extremely high on my to do list

Nice truck. I just bought something similar! 229k. Same year and all, and my suspension also needs a near complete makeover. Glad to hear it rides well with the new parts. Gives me hope that mine will too.
