Proud of my methanol tank. Found a grand Cherokee washer fluid tank for $5 at the salvage yard. Painted it flat black, installed a ss float sensor, and tapped it for the meth line. Holds 1 gallon. Left a little of the plastic natural to see the fluid level. Its going in my passenger side bed box with the pump.

Not the tuffest rims but it's mostly a dd. Planning on 35"s with bilsteins until I can afford LT. Can't wait to get these on......

image.jpg image.jpg Those look epic! Hey Josh, I highly recommend you use allen head bolts for your wastegate so you can actually torque them down to an adequate ft/lb. a regular socket will NOT fit the passenger side bolt, so it will either stay kinda loose or strip. Harbor freight sells a SWEET ball/swivel extended head hex ratchet set that makes taking the WG on and off a total breeze while in the truck. I just replaced my bolts today (M8 1.25 thread x50mm long) and if there was a leak, it's definetely not there now. Notice on the top picture how a section of the CX headers is almost completely obstructing the bolt head.image.jpg

Yeah, I see that. Looks like neither a socket nor a wrench can get in there.

When I go to mount the waste gate on to the header it seems like there's a big gap in between the turbo and wastegate? here are some images so you can see what I'm talking about. on the wastegate it sticks out. the flanges don't sit flush. I'm wondering if yours is like this too and you just use the copper gasket to fill in that gap?

Huh?? Where is that gap comming from? Is it an uneven flange surface or the valve seat ring for the wastegate? On my wastegate, the ring makes the wastegate stick out about 1/8" but when you tighten down the bolts, the wastegate spring starts to depress and it ends up perfectly flush.
EDIT: I just zoomed in to your pic, and yeah, that gap will go away when you tighten it down.

Yeah, it's the ring.......I see, it's OK then. Thanks bro! Didn't realize that gets depressed with the spring.

You have to tighten the bolts very evenly or you can torque the valve seat. Also, dont connect it to the headers before install. It won't fit into the engine bay.

I put mine in with the wastegate already attached and I didn't have to touch my power steering at all either :notsure:

I couldn't fit mine. Had to take it off and reinstall the hard way :(

As the above pics, hex bolts are your friends. You can't get a socket on a bolt head and forget about using a wrench.

What end goes to the dump tube off the wastegate? Wanted to be sure but my guess is the spring, shaft, and valve end butt up against the turbo side. Is this correct? That way all the hot gas presses onto the plunger.

It goes exactly like the pic you posted above, with the ring and valve up against the header WG flange
