New here and just went from an awesome duramax diesel I had for years to a trusty little 99 Tacoma 4wd 2.4 extended cab with 190000 miles. Just like the title states, it doesn't start the greatest sometimes taking a 5 to 10 cranks. It idles rough at times and hesitates when giving it throttle right off the bottom. The truck does alright once the Rpms are up and power doesn't seem to be down. I am very mechanically inclined but don't know much about these trucks except for the fact they run forever and hold good value. Just looking for some places to start. Thanks for any advice!

Did plugs, wires, fuel filter and cleaned the injectors. Runs awesome now and you will be able to see why. One of the problems were the plugs for sure.
