99 3.4 v6. 4x Remove starter to pull motor??

    '99 Tacoma SR5 xtd cab
    [Purchased 7-2-15]I think much wider tires. & No others am aware.
    99 3.4l v6 4x4. Do I have to remove the starter to pull the engine?
