Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
My 99 spent it's first 177,000 miles as a company truck. It pulled a 3000 lb trailer from the time it drove off the dealer lot. It was rode hard and put away wet. Really. I worked for a wetland maintenance company, dragging this truck and trailer through the wetlands of west Florida. This was my assigned vehicle before I bought it from the company.
It still runs great, no rust except the factory chrome step bumper. I can only amagine how many mile these Tacomas can go that are not "beat hard" everyday. Anybody out there have one they bought new and babied with 4 or 500,00 miles?
