    Hey guys,

I have a dumb question. I have searched google/the forums and haven't found an answer.

I just bought my Tacoma a couple of months ago, and have not yet used the 4wd. I have no idea if it has auto locking hubs or manual locking hubs. How do I tell? It is NOT the TRD model. Its an sr5.

I'm mostly wondering because a friend is wanting to give me the wheels off of his 93 4runner and I want to know if its basically just plug n play, or if I'll have to do anything to get the wheels to work on my truck.

    Thanks!

if there aren't any knobs to turn in the center of the front wheels you're ADD and have "automatic" hubs.

ANY 6lug Toyota wheel will bolt on your truck, having the appropreate center caps may be another deal ( manual hub center caps have open centers )

One must be careful Tacoma Calipers are bigger some of the early wheels will bind up.

ADD is nothing like automatic hubs which were one of Toyota`s blunders back in the mid eighties
