99 tacoma 4x4, are 235/75/15 to small?

    Just found a great deal on a set of 235/75/15 mud tires. I currently have 265/75/15's all terrains. What do you think? To small? Let me know or maybe post some pics. Thanks.

    235/75 r15 on mine. AT's though, not mud. Iooked a little different than the old 31x10.5's but I grew to like them.1210151214.jpg

    I thought about that and looked inside my door to see what the manufacturer recommended and it said 225/75/15. I don't really understand that sense it came with 265/75/15's originaly. So it makes me wonder if speedometer is off now?

    I think all 4x4 tacoma's came with the 225/75 sticker? check other areas for another sticker?

    Mine has 3.58 gears, original tire size was 225/75 r15.

    yours is also a '96, most 4wd after '98 were on larger tires with a few exceptions (axle ratios)
