I just replaced my O2 sensor, but did not pay attention to the gasket orientation. One side was all paper or whatever it is, and the other was partially covered, does it really matter how it was installed? I forgot to look at the original orientation, and a buddy said it didn't really matter.

Any help would be great. Thanks..
