I've always wanted to put a 2jz in my yota...

Other truck gets about 4 mpg so I need to keep this one somewhat decent

They never seem to help all that much. For me to get the best mpg I just have to keep good air pressure in my tires and lay off the skinny pedal

Even laying off the skinny petal does nothing haha. I might has well have 4x4 for the mpg I get

Well, got the reverse lights wired up, they work good and are bright, still have to get good pics. But then my truck threw a code p0453, something called "evaporative pressure sensor high input". I'm thinking I accidentally left something unplugged or maybe I nicked a wire, I'm gonna double check tomorrow

The yota is my DD building an F150 with a 460. The yota doesn't get very good gas mileage with the heavy ass tires and rims I got

Does the code give possible culprits? I bet you just clipped something when you were wiring. You can always try to just clear the code and see if it doesnt show back up.
Yeah tacomas seem to have a huge drop in gas when you go up to 33s. Yeah I see how the F150 gets such bad gas haha

Yeah, I'm gonna investigate before work tomorrow. I cleared code with ultra gauge, if it doesn't come back then that means its nothing?

A lot of guys on here actually get decent mileage with 33s. But I had o have the 10ply tires and 18" rims lol

It means it either cleared up or a faulty throw usually.
