    Replacing the boot is messy and a PITA from what I've read

    Mine were replaced somewhere around 70k miles. I'm at 162k. The stock shocks just suck. I feel every tiny bump, I bounce way too much. When you step on the back of the truck, you shouldn't see more then like half a bounce. It should come up and maybe come down a little an then settle. Mine goes up and down about 4 times lol. Shocks are supposed to be replaced every 50k

    Mine are the stockers hahaha 200k and still going :D yeah mine doesnt bounch like that at all. In fact mine passes the bounce test still but maybe not the high speed one oh wellz :rolleyes:. I though the standard to replace was 50k but toyota says until they leak or break?

    For my shocks you gotta remember they have most miles on smooth interstates so not that much wear

    When my truck got hit I the mechanics check everything to see what was needed on the entire truck. The only things were that oil was with 500 miles of a change and my battery terminal needed changed which I knew and that damn tailgate cable
