I'm not that into 2wd drive trucks either lol. But I loved my base Nissan. I could get 25 mpg city easy all day long, and highway was even better. And I could still tow a boat, put stuff in the bed, and do some off-roading. God, I better stop before I cry lol. I miss my little Nissan. RIP little buddy ;)

I'd mod any vehicle with stuff, but I guess it'd be less expensive mods in the long run. LEDs, exhaust, wheels, maybe suspension

Yeah that's how I am. I would get into more heavy modding if I had a dd and a vehicle to mod. The little stuff keeps me happy now

Yeah same, my friend was telling me how I need to do performance stuff like headers and exhaust and "chips"(most chips don't do jack shit unless you find a real one). I'm just like, got $2000?

Yeah I'm not into the performance mods like that. To me they are not worth the amount of money you put into them. The only big HP gain would be a s/c or turbo but I wouldnt wanna force my engine to deal with that

theres not much to do for these trucks beyond F/I anyway.... it comes stock with a CAI, and exhaust is relativly cheap.. beyond that i cant think of any big HP gaining mods

Exactly, just so much money on a somewhat old truck and you'll never get the money back. Pointless to me. If I had a car that could actually drive fast and corner good I'd get extra power, but all my truck could do is go in a straight line lol

Me either. The problem is people will buy a "performance" part or tell someone to buy one that really doesn't help at all. Like a new CAI I get told that all the time....I have one like you said

    I don't think I have a cai, not a TRD?

Ohh, yeah, same, that's technically a cai? Then how is the TRD different? Lol, just more intake I guess

all second gen trucks regardless of trim or engine config pull from the passenger side fenderwell for cold air.... i dont know about first gens but i know all second gens are like this, therfore any aftermarket CAI is a bunch of crap that usually moves the intake back into the engine bay, therfore making their "CAI" a hot air intake.....
