Mudflaps are amazing too. Sure the whole "mud splattered down the side" look is cool, but you're also slinging mud up under your rocker panel area and with rock sliders... that's impossible to clean.

I ripped off my passenger front flap the other day, so I know.

Yeah I agree its cool and all until you wash it. Mine gets dirty so easy right now too. I wonder if my dad still has the mudflaps somewhere idk I'll for sure look before I buy them.

Buddy of mine had a green 98 v6 auto 4x4 in high school. He spent over 2k for 6" lift, then another 2k for wheels and tires(35s). Idk what he had in his stereo system(2 15s with 2000 watt amp). He used to have his own lawn business. He ended up traded it in for 4k on a newer tundra. I told him he was crazy, he only got his money back from the lift and tires and didn't get anything for the truck. We had some fun times in that thing though

Thanks man! And yeah money for the truck doesn't come first hahah
This one has been used a ton for hauling my toys :D he only got back 4k!? Im not big on huge lifts but still! Did he abuse it a little? Hahah did he leave the tundra stock?

He traded it at a dealer and that's what the stock KBB trade is for the truck with 190k. I personally would have sold it privately for a lot more. Yeah, he beat the shit out of the truck. Always offroad, in the mud. He snatched my buddies f-250 with it. The truck was hopping on all fours, it was really bad. But it never failed him, and the only thing wrong when he sold it was bad u-joints. That's what sold me on yota's, if he could do that with it and it still run, mine should be fine haha. And his tundra has a small lift with m/t's. Nice stereo. That's all I know of

Do you ever need half ton capability? Cause it would use more gas and insurance, registration, etc. I love my tacoma. If I need bigger I want a diesel haha

True, I really don't "need" it, but then again I don't necessarily need a tacoma either, but I like both. Just would've liked to have the better tow/haul and a nice v8 with a good exhaust note

I dont have to have a tacoma either. But I would hate having a car. I'm actually torn right now between getting a scooter for better mpg or mods for the truck haha. BTW, Put a 4bt in the tacoma. Awesome exhaust note :D

Yeah, I get into my friends civic and getting in and out is just :puke: lol. Can't do cars. What's a 4bt? I plan on getting an aero turbine 2525xl muffler welded in

4bt is a 4 cyl cummins haha. And nice! I've heard a lot about that muffler. Also magnaflow. I have a flowmaster 40, which you might have heard in my build thread, but if could do it again I'd get a magnaflow 18". To the OP, sorry but :threadjacked: :D

Hahaha, I'd love that 4cyl Cummins! And yeah I've heard about longer mufflers being better for our trucks

The aero turbine has been proven to add hp, but I believe the magnaflow might be more. A mod named Chris4x4 dyno tested a bunch of them. You could shoot him a PM. Or look at my exhaust thread. I think he mentions it somewhere in it
